PS Here is a welcome letter from our orientation coordinator.

Dear Stateside Togo Team Member:  

On behalf of the Togo Team, the Orientation ministry team would like to congratulate you on your acceptance into the ABWE family and to welcome you to the Togo Team!  You are needed and wanted, and we have already been praying for you and planning for your arrival.   

The Orientation ministry team was formed to coordinate an effort on the part of all of our missionaries to communicate to you the sort of things that you need to know in order to prepare you to live and minister here in Togo.  During your time of Pre-Field Ministries and language study, you will be receiving orientation materials from the Home Office and regular communication from the field.  We encourage you to read through all of these materials as they will help to answer many of your questions.  The Togo Team Orientation Disk covers a great deal; it may be necessary to read through some of the documents more than once in order to absorb all the information.  If you have any questions regarding these materials, please write and let us know.  This disk has been designed to help guide you through your pre-field and post-field days in Togo.   

Every month or so you should be receiving a letter from one of our families giving a brief resume of their background and present responsibilities in their ministries here in Togo.  We encourage you to respond with letters that will help us to learn more about you and your family.  Please add the Togo Team members to your e-mail prayer letter mailing list.  Some of our missionaries send regular e-mail updates to friends and supporters.  They have been asked to add your address to their mailing list as well.  Also, please send us a supply of prayer cards that can be passed out to our Togo Team  members.
